Har! Has there ever been a show before where the side stories are more inetresting than the main plot? And dragged on half as long too boot?
I was disappointed with the story copout in the end, but I did like how they stuck to the basic principles of the characters.
I liked it. I was satisfied. But my hundreds of hours playing that god forsaken game and learning this crap at school prevents me from finding it "great" or "legendary" in any regards.
Pretty much if you didn't know the game inside and out, the movie really didn't make too much sense. It explained the life force thing well enough, but really skimmed over Jehova and Sephrioth. It didn't explain Aeris at all.
Overall, the graphics were good, and they had the bishies for the fangirls, but I don't think I would watch it again. Not unless I played the entire game first.
And Final Fantasy 3, the one on supernintendo, was the best. I loved that game. No one gives that one any credit. I mean all the other ones had plots that just melted together. I can't really remember the difference between the 7 or the 8 ones. And 10 just plain sucked. It wasn't even a game. Just a long ass movie.
There was, however, a world of difference between 7 and 8. Enough to irritate me.
