Good lord! Harry Potter you say?! It's totally useless, for anything; crappy acting, shooting, scripting, plots, drama (not soap opera but more philosophical like American Beauty (best movie ever by the way) or Donnie Darko (also incredible), and anything else that a movie requires to be great and not some hokie preteen piece of crap.

On a more upbeat note, everyone must see Shaun of the Dead, one of the finest parodies I've ever been witness to; furthermore it was actually well done as well as rolling in the aisles hilarious.

I have a different answer, but I will say what it is. Spiderman 2, it was the only movie I saw this summer because I'm not very big on watching movies.

As for the ones mentioned above, some I wanted to see. Pretty much all except for I, Robot, because it was an overused storyline. Robots thinking for themselves, yeah excellent movie idea there.. =/.. And Shawn of the Dead, which I'm guessing it's a parody of Dawn on the Dead, which I thought looked like a stupid overused cliche movie. I wouldn't want to see because I wouldn't understand any of the jokes made in spite of the DotD.

...am I allowed to make a nice comment?

not sure...

but I enjoyed the playing of roles and intent of "shaun of the dead"

an excellent parody of the common zombified horror flick industry

Of those above, I, Robot.. but I have to say that I was impressed by the new King Arthur flick.. a more believable version of that particular legend. :) Then I'm not much for comedies. *shrugs*

None of the above.

I still wouldn't call it very good, but the closest I saw to a good movie this summer was Spider-Man 2.

Decent, but not great.

Definately I, Robot. It has the highest "Crapiness of plot" to "money spent on movie" ratio.
