This is the gallery that originally made me famous on deviantArt, getting me countless features, awards, and daily deviations. But the photography is also the starting point for what drove me to color line art. Here is where my color style began. A lot of tricks, techniques, and post-processing methods I use in my paintings are derived from my venture into photography. The paintings are reflective of the strong, bold colors I strove to extract from my photographs. I don't do photography nearly as much anymore do to major time restrictions. But I still yearn to return to it when my schedule opens up way more. Every photograph has a story behind it. Some reflect tales of Christmas, some examine my endeavors to escape the stresses of life, and one heart-wrenching photograph remains an iconic symbol of my very good friend's attempted suicide. I still look at that photo from time to time, and get a little teary-eyed at how it brings back all the memories, and how that one picture is what I consider my final glimpse into my innocent outlook on life. It's the power of photography. They tell the story of my life. My home. My friends. My existence.
