This one was quite fun to work with. Though I frequently found myself going back to my anatomy book with a couple other colorings I've done, making sure the muscle structures are shaded just right, this one was rather different. The original lineart was clean, but I liked the flow of the character, her sublte arc in stature, and the interesting working of the anatomical structure. I found shading in between the lines to be quite simple, because as I looked at this one's lineart, there wasn't too much additional anatomy study required. I could see clearly what needed to go where, and to the original artist, muchas gracias. Es muy guapa. Ella era fácil de trabajar con.

So...I am, as usual, satisfied with how this turned out. I used a gigantic multitude of layers, roughly eighty, for all of the coloring, additional tweaks to lineart, shading, highlighting, background, border, etc. I'm guessing this has four hours of work stamped onto it, as well, but I'm not quite sure as my mind enters an unconscious state when it colors. Therefore, I never remember when I began, and I can't determine the line where I stopped.

By the way, you guys, I haven't forgotten about the [link] Dark Girl piece. I am still awaiting notification from the original artist if he would allow me to manipulate the original lineart a little bit, as to fix some placement issues and layout problems in the drawing. As soon as I hear from him (he hasn't been on dA all week), I will get another version of that up as soon as I can do it.
