K-O-I Concept 03

This was based off of a lineart drawn by Mike Rogers, a prominent background artist who did work on a lot of Klasky Csupo work like Rugrats, Wild Thornberry's, and Rocket Power. On campus, he is regarded as the most talented and inspiring man on campus, mostly because he's sixteen feet tall, has a booming northeast Brooklyn accent that shatters diamonds, and eyes that shoot laserbeams into your soul. So what he says, is.

Instead of putting entire photographic elements into the image, I would find various textures and lay them right on top of the lineart. Then, color treated to pull out all the primaries in the image. Lastly, brushed over to give it the usual painted look.
