This is the exterior of a dumpy little biker bar in a small railway town in the armpit of rural Alberta, Canada.
Recognize the bike? Yeah. 3d models compositted on a photographic collage, then painted over, all in Photoshop. Well, bikes modeled in 3d Studio Max, and arranged and rendered, THEN put in Photoshop with the other photographs and crap.
This was the second attempt with the "paint-over" collage method. As you may see, it's a lot more detailed than the previous concept piece. I spent a fair bit more time on this one, as we already had a style set in stone. So it wasn't exploratory as it was getting the fullest out of the style.
Great job! Can’t find much wrong with it at all! The pipe chimney type thing on the left doesn’t line up with itself after the roof corner breaks its path! And is just me or does the bike on the left have no handle bars?? haha maybe its meant that way just an observation!.... wonderful use of colors and the composition of and point of view make it very interesting.. Great job!!!!
i like it, but if you would i have a small suggestion, the middle seems jumbled up, the contrast exists on the edges but inside it takes a while to discern bike from bar. I know its not a big difference, i just wanted to give some suggestions, Good job.
Since there's no snow on the bikes, I would think the tracks in the snow would be a little bit deeper, given the weight of the bicycles and the fluffiness of the snow.
Other than that, it looks way cool!!!!
