Hugs!

Quick little 20 minute speedpaint. Saw a picture of a mantis get a DD today, so I wanted to try it out. I had a little mantis thing a few years back, I thought they were adorable.

Until one landed on my cheek.

And punched me.

I got uppercut by a stupid mantis.

So I wanted to make this guy look all ferocious and scary. But that stupid upturned jaw, it just made him look so happy, so ridiculous looking, I decided just to roll with it and go back to days of happy Mantids once more.
